PAGODA POINT

Pagoda Point is also another viewpoint, which is worth visiting. Pagoda point or pyramid point is a viewpoint located on the eastern part of Yercaud hills. This has four piles of stones arranged so as to form a pyramid shape. It is said to be built by the local tribes and now there is a Rama temple located between the piles of stones. One can get a thorough view of the town of Salem and a little village called Kakambadi from this hill.

KILLIYUR FALLS

Kiliyur Falls is a waterfall in the Shervaroyan hill range in the Eastern Ghats, Tamil nadu, India. The waters overflowing the Yercaud Lake fall 300 ft (91 m) into the Kiliyur Valley. The falls is situated at a distance of 2.5 km (1.6 mi) from the yercaud lake. The best time to visit this place is immediately after the monsoons.

Anna Park is a lovely garden located near the Yercaude lake and has slides that would certainly interest children. This park has a collection of the natural species of plants and trees seen around Shevaroy hills. Several flower shows are organized in the park during the month of May. Inside the Anna Park there is a Japanese park, in which plants are grown in Japanese style. The park is situated next to the Lake. It is typical park used to host the Flower Show in the month of May.

The Lake Forest is located in a coffee estate on the banks of the Yercaude lake. Lake Forest Hotel is located near lake. The hotel is 210 km away from Coimbatore airport. The nearest railway station is Salem Railway Station, which is 28 km away from the hotel. The guest bungalows are set in the "Eastlynne Farm Estate" in and around the "Bungalow" built during early 1800s by Henrietta Charlotte Rosario who was living in the Shevroy hills.

YERCAUD SERVARAYAN TEMPLE

It is situated on the top of Shervaroyan hill and is a modern cave temple located 5326 feet above the sea level. The highest point in Yercaud hill is the Sherveroyan temple. The residing deities in the temple are god Shervaroyan and his consort the goddess Cauvery representing the Shervaroy Hills and the Cauvery river. The annual festival which is celebrated here in the month of may attracts thousands of the Malyali pilgrims.
